Citizens of the EU, UK, CIS, CEFTA, USA, Canada, Japan, Korea, UAE, Australia, Israel, Turkey, New Zealand, and certain countries in South America and Asia do not need a visa to enter the Republic of Moldova for stays of up to 90 days within a 6-month period from the date of first entry.

Passports must be valid for at least 3 months from the date of entry.
Border Crossings

Main entry points are via Romania (by road and rail) and Ukraine.

Customs Declarations

Amounts over €10,000 must be declared at customs.

You may enter with your own car; a Green Card (international insurance) is required.
